About me
I was born into a family of cyclists. My grandad put this joy into our family, my dad followed him soon, so did my brother.
I did some rides as a child, also some kids races but at that time cycling was not so developed for women and there were no social media to get to know the story. So my parents sent me to do all kinds of sports I wanted. I played tennis, gymnastics, handball, all kind of sports for school competitions… and at one point I fell in love with basketball and with my fighter heart I did most of this with less talent and I am also not that tall ? and then I saw some girls riding races in Croatia, this made me think… Also at that time, my current basketball team had problems with the coach.. and then I talked to my dad… and the rest is history.
But as I said, I am still the same girl in love with sport in general, also nature… and travel…
My day usually looks like this
Hm… I do wake up first ? and then have the breakfast while getting ready for workout. Then I check out my training plan and intervals that I have to do. I dress up, put BITE ME in the jersey pocket and I leave the apartment.
On my way back I take a protein shake, do the core exercise, take a shower, then lunch and rest. The rest of the day depends on my other obligations. It usually means learning for exams and writing papers. When I’m in Croatia I find time for my friends.
My motivation
Inspiring, and at the same time motivating, is the fact that the pain is transient. Every pain during the training means less pain during the race, and the real one, which after enough pain in training is somehow dear because it is superhuman. I like to push my boundaries. Simply, a desire to succeed is motivating, and I was most motivated by the desire to go to the Olympics.
Achievements
Winner of the sprint classification in Paris on LaCourse by le Tour de France and also the same in Madrid on Madrid Challenge by la Vuelta a España.
I am proud that I was part of my team when we took 7th place in the team time trial world championships. The same year I got individual 18th place, having the same time as the winner. Only 19 of more than 140 girls got in at the same time.
Why do I love BITE ME?
From the first call and visit to the BITE ME office in Zicer, I was fascinated by the energy of the team that stood behind everything. We clicked and talked as if we had known each other for years. And then there was the tasting of the product. I have to admit I was skeptical at first because I tried plenty of raw bars and they were all dry, hard for me to chew and digest. So I was delighted with the flavors, ingredients, and the way it affects digestion. In short, it’s not hard to love everything related to BITE ME.
Like what you see?
Great! Then we’d like you to meet some of our other B!teMe friends
